Just a point Daemonkin but I think that list is over the 1/3 point limit on Synapse groups (I make your synapse group total as 1230pts for a max 1000pts in a 3000pt game). On restrictions, is there any way to simplify them. I can't think of any other list that has so many but I do understand its to ... |

I thought the Swordwind stats were a bit too good. I've only seen an old version (v0.2 found via forum search) of the Lugganath list which still appears to use the Swordwind stats. The pdf link on the Wiki Army list page doesn't go anywhere.
I think for now counts as is the best option.

Although I probably can't run this list for the near future as I'm short on infantry it does seem a bit over the top. The way I see it, when those mycetic spores come down each one is acting as a 2BP orbital bombardment with a bigger template (Standard is 7.4cm, Orbital is 12cm, Mycetic Spore is 30c... |

I've got a pair of titans with 4 (soon to be magnetised) weapons, a Powerfist, a Psychic Lance, a Fusion Lance and a D-Cannon. What I'm interested in is what experiences people have had using the Fusion Lance and D-Cannon in game on a Phantom. In a typical game are the alternate weapons balanced eno... |

On the landtrain is there some sort of modelling or usage code that you use for which battlecars are being used as I'm sure I'm not alone in having a landtrain with a mix of cars that represent the 1 of only versions. I'm guessing tell the opponent or the last car is the special one. I'm still undec... |

Quote: (Jeridian @ 28 Feb. 2009, 11:36 ) Unless stated otherwise I'd treat them as Light Vehicles as the rules state, with all the inherent weaknesses. Adding a whole host of special rules, including a whole new unit type just to make them work, when they did work as Infantry seems complicated.... |

I think you've just hit upon something that isn't quite clear in the Nid rules. Do tyranid LV's count as infantry for the purposes of getting an infantry cover save when in terrain? Also can they get the cover to hit modifier when in contact with a WE or AV? Unless someone can think of anythin... |

I think the zoanthrope needs some alteration in terms of availability. They could potentially be more common than warriors. I'd consider allowing more warriors to be taken (Add 0-X per synapse swarm like how the zoanthropes are listed) and demote zoanthropes to uncommon broods again but retaining le... |

Thanks for the ideas. I've only got plastic welder around at the moment, it's completely liquid and evaporates in seconds. I'll probably try it first and hope it doesn't eat too much plastic but I might need to go and get some gooey stuff. I've got a few that will benefit from superglue for strength... |

I'm currently hunting down plastic nid infantry. I've got hold of some in a cheap job lot (With a few stands of Eldar, early IG, a load of SM and a load of early chaos). I've got a fair few nids bent and some snapped. So does anyone have any tips and tricks for repairing bent or snapped gargoyles an... |

As I'm currently building up a Nid army it's interesting to see the direction the army list is going in. I have a few comments but not having played the army yet they'll be mostly thematic. Some already mentioned I agree with are gargoyle/gaunt point costs are a little high, a trygon should lead the... |
