As Glynn says, the outside chance is 30k Epic. Identical armies help investment costs and projected sales, and arguably it follows the same logic - all the 30k stuff is becoming more distanced from 40k marines (LR and rhino's days are numbered in 40k as I see it), and the 30k 28mm models are mainly ... |

I really cant see what the incentive people see for GW to rescale their whole range to 6/8mm when people are happy to play massive EA-sized games (and spend massive amounts if money) using 28mm minis. Apocalypse IS the new epic. But rather than £3 a tank they can charge £40. Rather than £1 a stand p... |

When disembarking from a planetfalling aircraft, can jumppack troops still disembark 15cm or are they restricted to 5cm like other troops? We went rule-of-cool, with my opponent’s Crisis Suits doing halo drops out of the orca direct in to action like the codex cover, but based on the overwatch rules... |

Sounds like overall it will play quite differently to EA from what ive read, but thats not to say it will be a bad game. Blast markers seem to be a mechanic for wound tracking which get saved and applied all in the end phase. Suspect it will double down on the big tanks and war engines and heroic ch... |

For sure - its aimed at 40k players with large existing collections. What intrigues me is “all new ruleset”. Does this mean a heavy adaptation of 8th ed or completely new mechanics? My expectation is the former as surely it will have to piggy back off all the existing codexes? Though if it was all n... |

The big question is, how will Dan fair outside of his natural environment - outside of a pub!!??
I will also have plenty of room in the car if you need terrain. Can easily bring a couple of different tables. |

They do both look good. Surely better to sell them separate packs though? Maybe i’m missing something, but i’m not sure why anyone would want them on the same stand or even same unit?
Looking forward to what you come up with for cybershadow vehicles and fliers. |

Personally my reading of the fluff suports the BP idea most closely, but game play trumps the fluff imho, and its for that reasson I think the alturnative would be very/too powerful. Having faced Resa F’s tau a fair bit over the last couple of years, the tau seem to strongly need to break scout scre... |

I had a great day. Great MC job by Redar, thanks to all, especialy Duncan, Nat and Dan (yes even Dan) for great games and everyone for the atmosphere. Plus a great time over a great burger afterwards with an opportunity to meet FTW and DMT in real life finally. Hope to see you all again soon. Lesson... |

If the “rules are a holy text” argument is stop this then why not (where it is found to be useful in a new list) introduce a new special rule [lets say toughened armour] for a non-invulnerable TA(5+) save and have done. The seperate name will highlight the dfferent nature to RA and if its found to b... |
