Take the time to do what's needed. Elysian's are indeed tough, and Deb did an excellent job on many fronts. It'll take some time to get Elysian's to a good place, nothing should be rushed.

You bring up a good point, I guess I associate "direct fire" more with trajectory. Howitzers and large artillery can shoot at a horizontal disposal...mortars....well I've never seen one do that!

Yes, it is no substitute for actual game play - but they are good to laser focus on exact scenarios for testing purposes.
