Thanks Elsmore - I didn't write the recipe this time, but I will be home in a few hours and look at the colors and let you know.

To start off, though, I did a simple wash os seraphim sepia over the white undercoat

Sorry Jimmy - That's correct - I just dust off the pigment to get to that effect, blend the pigments with each other and the undercoats

Anyway, even though your comparison pics show a grand evolution in time, the fact remains that your old paintjobs were already fantastic!

Thank you guys! You are too kind to me, as always - the amounts of detail in these were so awesome that washing was a big part of the process. Anyway, this marks the beginning of some heresy goodness which I found under my bed for some reason and may get some paint on.

Gorgeous - care to give us a tutorial on the Raven's bases,please? particularly the painting - I assume pigments, but I can't get mine to finish off like that!
