| Thanks Apoc! @Elsmore: This is more or less how I did it: ------------- Troops 1. white undercoat 2. seraphim sepia wash (weapons stay like this) 3. mournfang brown:lahmian medium wash 4. mournfang brown:averland sunset highlight (1:1) 5. averland sunset:white highlight (1:1) 6. as 5. but more white... |

Thanks Elsmore - I didn't write the recipe this time, but I will be home in a few hours and look at the colors and let you know.
To start off, though, I did a simple wash os seraphim sepia over the white undercoat |

Sorry Jimmy - That's correct - I just dust off the pigment to get to that effect, blend the pigments with each other and the undercoats

The paintjobs are so awesome as to make me utterly envious of both you and your opponents :-)
Anyway, even though your comparison pics show a grand evolution in time, the fact remains that your old paintjobs were already fantastic! |

| Thank you guys! You are too kind to me, as always - the amounts of detail in these were so awesome that washing was a big part of the process. Anyway, this marks the beginning of some heresy goodness which I found under my bed for some reason and may get some paint on. |
