Tau are my second epic army and looking at the army list i do have a simple question. When I add a character to a formation in my Space Marine army, one stand in that squad becomes a character. In the Tau list, crisis suits are listed as 4 suits and one leader. Does that mean the squad is 4 stands w... |

I'm working on a mechanized Tau army and i eas wondering about pathfinders. Right now i plan to add a squad to my fire warriors to spread out my markerlight coverage. That combined with Tetras should allow me to mark what i want during a game. Pathfinders can also be taken on their own. Is there som... |

i need to find a good cheap way to make bases how to make cheap plastic bases (guide is for strip bases, but square would be just as easy) http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=29861 Looks great. Just have to find a decent source of plastic stock and I'm golden. Thanks. |

I just got a healthy supply of proxy models and i need to find a good cheap way to make bases for them. My marines are on square bases so i think id like to keep the new army on the same square bases. Any ideas? |

Yup. Those guys. I'm aiming at them because I think they can be scratch built easy and cheap. This has been a little side project since mainly no one around here plays Epic to my knowledge. It's just something I've wanted to do for a while. I've been slowly snagging bits and I have nearly a 3000 poi... |

I've decided that i need to add a Thunderhawk to my epic Ultramarines. Since my whole force is the classic style i think scratch building one or two of the old boxy style ones is very possible. Has anyone ever tried it and might have some advice? |

I used a home made black wash on my Ultramarines that worked really well to give them some more detail without really changing the shade of blue drastically. Google future floor wax wash for the base I use. I make that base and use inks to tint that. Great results in every scale I paint. |

Had to put my Epic on the back burner for a few weeks. I finally found some FSA players so I had to get my fleet painted. They're done so I'm back with an update... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/Jerseyboy381/20141219_200721.jpg My commander and his squad, based at last. Not too enamored wit... |

I've been gaming (alas, not epic) at The Bearded Dragon, in Bernardsville. It's a little out of the way, but it's a great space. My local friends aren't going to be buying in to epic, so I'm still frustratingly without games myself, but the owner's more than happy for us to run whatever we want the... |

I'd recommend some super-fine acrylic paste. Layer it on and it'll nicely conceal the base plugs. Also, New Jersey? Do you play at a store? I've played 40k at Maplewood Hobby and Gamer's Realm in Hamilton. I'm just getting started on Epic. I live right between those two stores. To my knowledge, the... |

Gold on mk6 shoulder pads!? Heresy! :) I started with yellow, then did a test with gold and liked it better.
