These are even rarer than the all metal beetlebacks that were used for the original AT pictures (I own one of those). To my knowledge they have never been up for grabs. Otherwise I would own it..... ;) Is there anything you don't own? ;D Thanks for the info, Primarch. I had a feeling you would know...

Hi! As Dwarf Supreme mentions I don't drop in to frequently anymore, but I do read from time to time and this picture caught my eye. That model is, as L4 mentions a prototype. Its all metal and was never released. Back then in prelude to the release of Adeptus Titanicus the studio made a lot of all ...

Hi! I not sure I am interpreting your question correctly, but artillery shots versus shielded units and units with templates function the same as direct shots (excluding scatter of course). Thus, you hit a shielded unit one shield goes down unless its special rules dictate and additional effect. In ...

Hi!
Scream is correct on all counts. The mega cannon is more an armor piercer, not a anti-fortification weapon. Most if not all titan close combat titan weapons destroy buildings.
The gutbuster ball round is the king of the building busters though....

Hi!
Scream is correct. In the old days it was just to easy to make stripped down broods with only one attached unit to the dominatrix and you could field several in relatively small games.
Not very balanced. Thus the change.

That makes sense. I guess I'm trying to accommodate how strong bomber type fliers can be. The alternate flyers rules seem like a necessity. Just trying to resist buying a squadron of the most recent Marauders models. They're beautiful! http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?cat...

Hi! Yes, fliers can engage fliers in ranged combat. The reason for no pinning if I remember correctly was that bombers are very much more expensive than fighters and to have the cheaper unit invalidate bombers for no more reason than "pinning them" would devalue them. Fighters already have...

Hi!
Correct. As independent units they would not need to observe chain of command.

Hi!
You look at your SM army and there are marines on jetbikes, Thudd guns and Mole mortars IN METAL!
You own an Actual Capitol Imperialis and Hellbore
Your plastic warlords sport metal heads and weapons from the old variant packs that go for mad money on e-bay.

Hi! Irisado, the main reason to putting all this stuff in a separate book and leave the core untouched is to avoid what you mention. That doesn't mean they are written in stone, but they do have the virtue of being tested (16 years of testing too!). That means at this juncture all I would do is comp...

Hi! I remember seeing that excel sheet back in the day. I don't remember whom did it, but I still don't like it much, which was my original feeling to it as well. Well, its up to everyone to decide. I can easily slip into that next book an alternate rule that for space marine armies, the terminator ...

Hi! As I mentioned before Irisado, were not replacing the points cost as they stand now. They will remain and the army cards that will be made will reflects those values. Nothing will change in the current books as written. So if your happy with that, as are many others will, you can choose to stick...

Hi! I usually use one unit as the baseline then go from there. Since the discussion started with SM tactical and such, I use the space marine tactical unit as the "baseline". Space marine tactical Move 10cm Armor save 5+ CAF +2 Weapon: Bolter, 1 attack dice, 5+ to hit, 0 save modifier. We ...
