Your thoughts on the list mirror my observations as well. Got two more games in recently and flyers seemed a bit overpowered for the points spent in first place. That aside, getting rid of unnecessary additional rules in favour of list simplicity to aid a clear and streamlined ruleset is always a go...

Nice to see my paint job getting liked :) The models were a pleasure to paint, though require some cleaning here and there. Would recommend fine sand paper to smoothen some surfaces. I should have done that with all the models.

No worries, I never take that serious ;-) The situations were as follows: 1. portal engagement We found it unclear, wether or not a) it is possible to engage a formation out of a portal straight away. b) if the engagement would trigger overwatch, as not being shooting, nor a movement per definition ...

well the last list was kinda good, though the Abattoire performs quite situational. Personally I have tried a few lists without large war engines and I have to say they tend to be more reliable. Two monoliths are ok, depending on how and where to port them. For obvious reasons, they have to be handl...

Have had two games in last weekend and have to agree with tiny Tim. Other lists than portal heavy don't really work. Would be cool though, if ark heavy lists would perform better. Airpower is really strong. Overall many synergies, so fun to play. Living metal is kinda balanced depending on the enemy...

I will get a few more games in after nye, so might do a battle report if that helps. Was impressed how extremely durable Necron flyers are, especially compared to Eldar/Dark Eldar ones, I've previously played with.

getting my first three proper games in with Necrons today, my opponent and I had some observations and/or questions regarding some of the mechanics of the Necron list. Probably you guys can help us out: 1. Tomb complex regarding placement, the rules say, the first objective the necron player places ...

The scenery looks nice indeed, though the eagle as previously mentioned is freaking close to 3rd Reich iconography. Have sincere doubts if it would be legal to import them to Germany, as you might end up in jail, for owning forbidden iconography... would definitely consider it, if those symbols were...
