One question/comment that we did have was that we thought it was weird that the kasrkin had a normal infantry commander vs a kasrkin commander. We assumed it was to simplify the army list, but seemed a little weird. Thats right, it's mostly for simplicity. The list already have a lot of special stu... |

Space Wolves vs Minervan Finally had some time for a test game with the playtest version of the Wolves. Not to happy about the matchup, lots of RA is not the ideal opponent in my mind. Tried to field a land based army and in hindsight that was perhaps not the best thing to do but at least it let me ... |

please do :) personally I've tried fortifications out and generally find the points better spent elsewhere but you do occasionally get those games where a minefield takes out half a formation or a single stand of tacticals in a bunker survives to contest an objective thanks to bad luck on your oppo... |

Thanx again
Will try and get a game or two and get back to you with some real feedback. I'll cut some paper trenches/minefields and test some deployments to see how it impacts the game. |

Hi, we are having some difficulties understanding fortifications in this list. Up until now nobody have played much with these so this might be general questions, hope you don't mind :) 1. The TP version and the one here differs a little bit on the wordings. Which one is the approved version? (We as... |

Thanks for the feedback gunslinger! :) That looks like a very aggressive list with only 3 or so units on the ground from the start. Nice to see that it turned out alright and that you had some use of the pack mentality. How do you usually plan your drop? Close to the blitz and 15cm in or? I do not d... |

Did indeed look fun. Can the damage from a failed dangerous terrain test really be taken against a shield? We've always played that shields don't protect against dangerous train tests. The rational being that shields don't stop CC attacks. We always play like its Ewoks in the woods so it doesnt nee... |

Just a fire is really negligible as a consequence with just 1/6 chance of damage put off till the end phase and it means Gargants will nearly always be using Push them harder whereas IMO it should be something they only do sometimes due to a reasonable risk. Have you read the rules for fires? It is... |

Fun game indeed! I will gladly play a couple of games with this list :) So my thoughts about the Gargants... This game was a lucky/unexpected win. I was aiming at a draw and winning on points. Fires is fun and simple way to handle the slowness of the Gargants. Perhaps I used them a little too much b... |

Thanks for the long read. Always interesting to know how other people build their armies. Fun to know that you actually have a little background story for some of the builds :) I noticed that the "big" difference between my own builds and yours is in the number of activations (probably bec... |
