Thank you for all the good games guys and the venue was top notch. (It is unlikely that we will be able to beat it) It was all great fun and it is always fun to meet up the rest of the Epic community. It was especially fun to be able to finally put some faces on the more far away members of it. Quic... |

I have done this more times than I like to think. If you make this error then I am afraid that as there are no enemy stands within 15cm at then end of the moves then I would rule that the engagement has stalled and the activation is over. Now 10+ cm into terrain and still within 15cm of the engager... |

In terms of scouts - it's worth remembering that they tend to be pretty fragile, so struggle late game compared to chunkier units, and also this scenario isn't meant to be played in isolation - a list needs to be effective on the standard grand scenario as well. Lego - the point of larger DC war en... |

I had considered making DC8 war engines (i.e. gargants and Warlords etc) be able to hold multiple objectives rather than just contest, but was wondering if this would start making things a bit too complicated. I don't quite see the point of this. If this was to be introduced a points cutoff would p... |

Sounds slightly lucky to get so much of the BTS under and also 2 EoVs but only slightly. Remember that the pie plates can cover a window of 36cm so the chance of avoiding depends very heavily on how much you have to deploy. Against a 100% ground pounding biel tan army with no less than four infantr... |

We ran a game with Mics Biel-Tan army vs an epicuk Space marine army to test it out. I ran Space Marines vs last years swedish Space Marine champion who played Biel-Tan. Biel-Tan Avatar [0pts] Aspect Warrior Warhost c/w 8 Shining Spear, +Exarch, +Autarch [400pts] Aspect Warrior Warhost c/w 8 Shining... |

From what i get from pretty much all the posts on here is that us guys having a problem with beil tan down here is that it isnt beil tan its the players. So you your pretty much saying we are all terrible players with out seeing us play. I'm not quite sure that is what we are saying, or at least I ... |

Wouldn't it be a workable solution to ban Eldar entries explicitly for one (and only one) year and then use that year to work out a solution for how you want your BT lists to work? That would give you a clear timeframe to get the work done. It would jive with your terrain conventions. It would give ... |

As a Euro player I don't see any disproportional BT wins in our tournaments. They are fragile and counterable however they tend to rack up a lot of objectives when they win big as all fast and agile armies do (SM are a good comparison). To get back to Gingers original question the lists that seem to... |

Well and here I am using my Autarch for the MW in my SP unit ^_^ I would however very much like the exarchs to be standardised even if they become a bit unwieldy in the army list. Right now they are counter intuitive and hard to remember when actually playing. The epic UK version is really smooth in... |

I have played a few games with the newly revised thousand sons list and I'll hold any comments conserning balance until I have played a few more, however shouldn't the deciver have infiltrate like the defiler? That would put it in line with the standard defiler and at the same time make it a slightl... |

My favourite formation is possibly 3x Striking Scorpions, 3x Dire Avengers and 2x Fire Dragons upgraded to be Exarchs / Autarch and mounted in Wave Serpents. Note I use the E-UK lists allowing the formation 4x MW attacks in assault. Since our group does not use the E-UK lists I tend to use 2x Strik... |

We have been running scorpions in different configurations during the last year in our epic group. 2 x 2+ MW 75cm 3 x 2+ MW 60cm 3 x 3+ MW 60cm 250 pt / model 200 for extra models in a group. 2,500 pt - 4,000 pt The consensus in our group is now that 3 x 2+ MW is Possibly OTT 3 x 3+ MW is preferred ... |
