OK, that makes sense. Yes, the double BTS and inability of the Harlequins to grab objectives without leaders does make those builds somewhat 'interesting'. I suppose you could risk not taking leaders with the Harlies, but the one game you lose because you realise your unit next to the opponents blit... |

Question: Should the Shadowseer be granted 'scout' to facilitate this infiltration, and make it easier to establish those enemy units that are being enthralled? An intresting possibility... Given his movement for assaulting is still only 30cm unless riding a venom this seems a good way to remove a ... |

Looks a good mix of different sorts of list and playstyles.
Me, Steve and Rob went for a lot of the big toys but I think Gavin and Florians lists look pretty tasty on the ''we can take on anyone" front.
Be cool to see some Forgeworld Knights in action |

Thanks for the battle report - intresting reading.
By the sound of things The Laughing God marker and vulnerable assault units makes this list much stronger against low SR and 2+ Intiative armies. Space Marines offer a challenge so a good list for playtesting.
Will read the rematch with intrest. |

Having now played them (see battle reports) I think the Harlequin Grand Masque definitely fit into the 'If you're an experienced player and you fancy playing a list that'll be a challenge' category. I think they are fun to play with/against though. 2 big changes that Ginger has brought in that I don... |

Thats an intresting list, only thing I would say is an 8 activation Squat list with 4 units that are very easy to lose in assaults, and middling air cover(Overlords are good but no Thunderfires) is asking for trouble. Turn 1 Opponent either teleports in or uses air assualts. Kills one Overlord, reta... |

"You could also/instead move the first strike onto the unit stat, this would make them absolutely fearsome, with a good chance of killing all or most of the enemy's good units before they can attack back. Then they would compare favourably to banshees and be certainly worth their points. Yes th... |

I didn't even give them a seconds thought at 3 per formation for their cost but I guess they could still he useful. Yes they won't die easily but are very susceptible to BMs and can't actually accomplish all that much either. They aren't really cheap enough to be a throwaway scout-botherer either. ... |

Kyrt, I'd wondered about putting them into Yme Locc as well. You basically remove the army's biggest weakness (rubbish at assaults). Ginger, well up for play testing this I'd say at the moment my main concern is simply how you create balance in a list which is intended to be bolted onto 5 other lis... |

Ginger asked me to write a review of the list, so here goes. Maybe a few talking points? The Good - The stats of the army fit well with how Harlequins were presented in Rogue Trader era books. - They potentially offer a unique, high risk playstyle somewhere between Eldar and Necrons. With right bala... |

Thanks for organising and congrats.
November might give some potential new players time to get a few more games under their belt, which could help them with deciding on a League List if they want to join.
Other than that same all vs all format? Worked well this year. |

175pts is way to good for a Leviathan. At 350pts there very solid, possibly not as good pt for pt as a Cyclops/Collossus but certainly not overpriced compared to WEs in other lists. I've played with and against Squats a fair bit over the last year and agree Epic UK pretty much got the pts right for ... |
