"for those points I can take 3 plasma cannons"* (*not including the other 575 points needed for an entire new reaver to mount them on) that comparison is utterly useless. if we ignore the "takes up a whole bunch of weapon slots" part of the equasion, lets just argue that for the ... |

But the 1511 rules have been superceeded by the Stoddermeyer variant for all international tournament play, and as a internet based community, I contest that Taccoms counts as an international circuit with all rules and penalties that apply in that case. |

Should also add that the "rules" for mornigton crescent (which are made up all the time, but never actually exist) are basically that the first person to declare "mornington crescent" wins, which means that at any point, anyone can win. However, the aim of the game is to be the f... |

Personally, I think NetNet is too detailed, everyone should be playing the superior, meta-abstract variation EpicEpic, wherein i believe* you deploy models and make pew pew noises until one of you falls other or has to go out for chips and/or beer. (*I say I believe because that description is alrea... |

I would suggest that the 0-1 type restrictions apply to every 5000 points or part thereof (so a 15k game you can have three deathstrikes, three supcoms, etc) or allowing multiple forces (so a 10k game consists of two seperate 5k armies working together, which has the same effect but with a few more ... |

Again, no. you cannot "take off" with a thunderhawk unless you are performing a disengagement move. This takes place in the end phase, and has no way to then "land" elsewhere on the battlefield. Landing only takes place during a ground attack action. You can do the following turn... |

Nope.
three immediate reasons: 1, when you hop into a war engine, the war engine can no longer activate that turn 2, you cannot take off and land in the same activation 3, taking off takes place in the disengage moves |

In particular I am after: Ork Magna Divers or Mekboy Speedstas with Missiles, kommandos, big guns (inc old hopsplats) and deffkoptas Eldar Vypers Imperial Guard Bombards and Basalisks (first edition styles) Genestealers I also have a friend ... |

funnily enough, I would have pledged in their 2nd kickstarter if they'd had a more generic cobblestone texture again. I didn't on the first, because it was more expensive and I'd prefer 2x2 boards, and didn't pledge on the second, because none of the patterns were sufficiently useful for my needs (I... |

for what it's worth, I am currently planning on probably using kroot models to represent my Tanith list, with tau allies. I mean, its not a perfect fit (hammerheads as russ is a bit of stretch, krootox as heavy weapons teams fits ok) |

I never suggested that orks lacked access to the upper levels of the BP table. I suggested that the BP table plateaus out on killing power quite quickly, and while other types of weapons can be given bonuses to hit in order to allow for more aggressive play, the BP table relies purely on sustain as ... |

well, you can, it just means the soopagun doesnt give its MW ability to the barrage, which isnt unreasonable. with the new upgrades setup, it's not such a bad choice, because you can change two soopaguns to be other weapons and still take a solo MegaLobba if you want some basic barrage capability, b... |

by Big Lobba do you mean Mega Lobba? the 3+d3BP weapon? I've found it to be an ok weapon, but particularly suffers from the combination of "orks want to double" and "barrage table taps out quite quickly on to hit values" but it is good for breaking small war engine formations and... |

I'd like to see 4+ armour, not reinforced, with the knightshield being a special rule that gives a 4+ invun save except in crossfire or when the formation has been assaulted. this way it's not tied up in RA, doesnt have a triple-save (which is a PITA when taken in numbers) and you can give the light... |

As someone who plays against tau more often than plays with (especially since it appears that my hammerhead based tau army will be using the eldar list) I will again say that AT3+ is a bad idea. an increase in AT provides twice the benefit against nonRA vehicles than against RA ones. (again, +1AT gi... |
