Keeping in mind that the game has only had the surface scratched in terms of available races and units, and the army lists for those units...at this very early stage I feel that the game has smaller movement distances in relation to shooting ranges than Epic does. There's no suppression, however uni...

I've had about a dozen games of this now and I really enjoy it a lot. I think the rules are great fun. I'm very much looking forward to the rest of the core helix forces being released on Dec 10. The rule book needs work and is a bit of a task, not because the rules are difficult, they are actually ...

Thanks for the comments guys. The Grav Tanks and Grav IFV's are from Critical Mass Games (CMG) in the UK, they're from their Arc Fleet range. The Grav Tanks have had a missile launcher attached to the left side of the turret, which I got from Old Crow Models before he went into hibernation. The mini...

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm almost finished these guys, just another of the smaller Mechs to highlight and then to convert this small dropship. I've got a couple of big engines I'm going to fit to the wing tips and I've also got some better weapons to replace the current ones with....as well...

Hey Rastamann, your rivers look fantastic, thanks for sharing. On Total Battle Miniatures website, they say not to paint the actual water parts of the river as paint won't adhere to the smooth surface. Did you have any problems getting the paint to adhere? What type of undercoat and paints have you ...

I have posted this in a few places around the web, so some of you may have seen it already. Total Battle Miniatures in the UK do some excellent scultps and resin casts of 6mm, 15mm and 28mm scale buildings. They are now venturing into 10mm scale buildings. Some of the ranges they have are perfectly ...

I agree that it is, unintentionally I'm sure, a bit of a loaded question simply because I don't think people want FF4, they want to try FF4....two completely different things. I voted for FF4 simply because I'd like to see how it goes. If several experienced players are wanting to retry it, then the...

Jervis, when he began the list, laid out the goal of the Tau not being another FF based list. All the custodians since have followed that ethos. For a long time I disagreed with this but having played with and against the list since 5.X I can say, hand on heart, that the list does require both play...

Sources to the contrary (that it is a problem for them in firefights) would interest me. During firefights, your enemy doesn't stand in a convenient position so that you may retain your focus on the exact same point of aim for the duration of the exchange. They move frequently from one position to ...
