| I've done the trip a couple of times - albeit in the opposite direction. I prefer the train as it's so much speedier - except the one time I had to pay £15 parking at Stockport. I keep parking cash in the car - but not £15! The machine didn't accept notes or cards and so I was scrabbling madly for £... |

They're the same size as Warpath models, or your standard 28mm dwarf. Those discs they're on are designed to plug into a larger 25mm base.
Here's a half-painted one on top of a Diet Coke lid.
