Very cool, really like the rail gun conversion, hadn't noticed it was a tau part :P Try huffing your breath over the applied supper-glue/other part before sticking them together, added moisture. I'm more and more convinced by the baking powder method. Baking powder + Superglue ~ poor man's green st...

Thanks for the support guys. :) Carrington - I think you might be right about the Nids and how to tackle them. Still looking for the technical term -- pointillism gets close, but at least per Wikipedia is really directed at color. But I remember an art-class exercise in which we were not allowed to...

Thanks for all the big thumbs up guys! :) Regarding the scariness of Nids - they are one of the hardest races to paint, I am trying to get their 'feel' down, trying to work out the best way to paint them. Still practicing on those guys! As always a pleasure to look at this work. A lot of the other ...

AFAIK the finger-four formation (2 formations of two aircrafts each) is even in use today. It was invented by the Finnisch andthe Germans during the Spanish Civil War independently from each other. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finger-four Yup: The Luftwaffe continued the use of this formation durin...

BL, while you may be correct, the British started WWII flying in formations of three. From what I've read, this was basically a failure -- the two following planes spent far too much time watching each other as well as the leader. Took a while, and a fair amount of loss during the Battle of Britain...

With 6 commissars in a nine-unit army, the bigger question is where not to put your commissars. That said, I particularly like Commissars in scout formations, or in hard-to kill units. Very often I get a lot of mileage out of the one remaining fearless sentinel or rough rider. Somewhat less often, I...

An MBT & IFV hybrid has yet to be attempted ... but it is Sci-fi ... :D I guess the Churchill AVRE doesn't really count. No not really ... ;D Now an M1 that can also carry an 9-11 man squad would be a modern day "Land Raider". But doctrinally, it is not needed ... yet ... ;) Interesti...

Anyway, on to an different subject. Where does it say the Kriegsmen are grown in vats? I must've missed a memo at some point. ;D Read page 87 of the first Vraks book. The loyalist Kriegsmen already implemented eugenics and universal conscription during their 500-year civil war on their radioactive ...
