Yeah I am coming into this late, but I'll add my bit since I am the one that wrote the original LATD list. When I started writing the LatD list I wanted to create a list that was roughly based on what was in the Eye of Terror codex. As it was the last "official" LatD list GW had written. J...

I'd also suggest putting a bore hole in the cannon.

I am planning on it. The main body is just a rough mock up from me playing around.

Here is the closed armour version. I think half an 8 pointed star could go on the top of the side armour to add interest. So does the open or closed armour jump out now?

Here is the open armour version. One thing I do like about the open top is it doesn't look too similar to regular IG or SM armour. Plus it adds more interest to the top of the model.

This is what I was trying to describe. The visual certainly makes it easier. I started playing around with some 3D. I was thinking of the side wheel armour being ablative if the wheels were exposed on top so it would be attached to the side between the 3 wheels. I am now leaning a bit more towards ...

OK so today I was thinking about what updated D-man machines would look like. I figured the fire can would be the easiest to start with right? Also let me ramble on about my thought process behind this. These machines are made by humans, typically, so I think they would have a similar look to other ...

So is the current Horus Heresy list 0.2 or 0.3? I have only found the link to the 0.2 list, so I am guessing that 0.3 has not been released.

thanks

When will the rules be on sale, Wraethtu?

I am aiming for the Fall of this year, but don't hold me to it.

I just recently got back from running 3 demo games at Cold Wars. The reception was better than I expected, considering Cold Wars is a historical gaming con. But as CyberShadow pointed out, Forsaken is what has pulled me away from being an active participant in 6mm sci-fi gaming for now. I still chec...

Well to stick my nose in it. Personally I am not one for wanting to change something just cause 40k changed the rules. But I agree that I do like to stay close to the feel of the 40k stats. Here is the criteria I would want to stick with. The armour staying at 4+. All daemon engines have Invulnerabl...

And here I thought I did a pretty good job of being clear. How about this: "Summoning points are used to summon daemonic units from the Daemon Pool and summoned units are brought into play immediately. Any summoning points generated during the turn that are not used are lost and may not be carried o...
