We have had a few issues with the blogs here. Initially, the various text formatting was not working correctly. Following this, some text was removed by the system. I have managed to correct the formatting issues that were here, and return the blog texts.

A guy over on warseer posted this and I thought it was so utterly accurate and funny, I thought I'd share:

"GW: "Okay guys, price increase time. Units of 20 models now cost $30 instead of $25. Sorry."

Dan: "Alright, seems fine to me"

GW: "...really? Wow, we thought you'd be mad. Would you pay $35?"

Dan: "You just said they were $30."

GW: "Well they are. Due to increased costs, however, they now cost $35 for 20 models. Take it or leave it"

Dan: "Siigh, fine. I'll pay $35"

So after my last rant, I've met up with most of the geeks and had some conversations about warhammer, most agreed that they hate the new models, some liked 8th edition rules, some weren't so keen...

my beef isn't so much with the rules as with GW (see previous post) and today I felt like looking at some 28mm models again (I would like to "finish" my dark elves if possible and I've got loads of them but no dragon...)

I wondered about replacing my aging 4th edition reapers with the much more stylish current ones, and clicked on the 'rare' section ....

So, I have recently picked up, read and finished the twinned Black Library 40K novels Prospero Burns and The Thousand Sons. And, I have to say, that I am a little disappointed. These books were sold as a pair, that you would read them one after the other and one would shed light on the events and happenings of the other, that the main story line would be told from both sides of the heresy story. Well, personally, I didnt find this to be true at all.
